Words To Live By: “It’s A Beautiful Glass”

It's a beautiful glass

Wanting to understand “What is it that makes us human?” filmmaker and artist Yann Arthus-Bertrand collected images and stories from 2,000 women and men in 60 countries about love, work, poverty, death, war… for his film HUMAN.  In this excerpt, John Halcyon Styn shares an inspirational story about his grandfather, Rev. Caleb Shikles.  Who reminds us not to get sidetrack by the questions of whether the glass is half full or half empty, but instead we should recognize “It’s a beautiful glass”.

A little inspiration on —  ‪#‎WhatMakesUsHUMAN‬?
