The power of the purse has never been just about what we can buy. It is also about how we use what we have. Watch the elderly woman in the red coat run in from the right side of the screen and take on four robbers.
Yes. Women have got the power. And we aren’t afraid to use it. All we need is our purse, a strong arm, and determination. So men beware. As the song from the movie Marci X says:
We’ve got the power. We cannot lose.
We’ve got the power. Look, it matches our shoes.
We’ve got the power. Come on, everyone dance.
We’ve got the power. See, we don’t need pants.
Do you think the TSA will want to ban purses next?
I was the first female cop at my agency. I thought the guys would die when I came to work that first day in uniform carrying my purse. It usually stays in my vehicle but it’s never far from where I’m at. One of our guys now has a man purse and he’s man enough to carry it!
Thanks on your marvelous posting! I quite enjoyed reading it, you’re a great author.I will be sure to bookmark your blog and will come back someday. I want to encourage you continue your great posts, have a nice evening!
