IN A HAZE OF TESTOSTERONE INDUCED LUST...

When we live in a world
That still believes:

That men should lead,
While women should follow.

That men are strong,
While women are weak.

That lust is a natural appetite,
While love is an emotional entanglement.

Is it any wonder that,
In a haze of testosterone induced lust,
Personal gratification is the basis of life altering decisions

When we empower a government
That rewards:

The lust for power,
At the expense of compassion.

The lust for money,
At the expense of honesty.

The lust for eliteness,
At the expense of commonality.

The lust for success,
At the expense of responsibility.

Is it any wonder that,
In a haze of testosterone induced lust,
Assets are protected while people become expendable?

When we create a Society
That teaches:

A lust for immediacy,
Over a love of patience.

A lust for action,
Over a love of reason.

A lust for ease,
Over a love of fortitude.

A lust for conformity,
Over a love of individuality.

Is it any wonder that,
In a haze of testosterone induced lust,
Our virtues are lost and our rules of law are broken?

Is it any wonder
That we all feel violated?
