What I Saw

Melissa is also a full-time freelance writer and novelist.  Her novel, Bedside, was named a semi-finalist in the 2011 William Faulkner-William Wisdom Writing Competition for a novel-in-progress, and recently a finalist in the Columbus Creative Cooperative’s Great Novel Contest 2014. Her magazine articles have won numerous awards with Writer’s Digest, IABC and the International Academy of the Visual Arts.

She is a member of the Society of Southwestern Authors and the Arizona Historical Novel Society.
