Words: “Things I Learned When I Was Chris…”

When I was Chris

Sometimes, the right words have an unexpected source.

Back in 2013, Ashton Kutcher at the TEEN CHOICE AWARDS confessed that his real “first name” was Chris. And that was the name he used until he become an actor and changed it to Ashton at nineteen.  He then went on to share some insider secrets, three amazing “Things I Learned When I Was Chris…”

How to spot Opportunities:

(aka The Law of Investment – You have to be willing to put something in before you get something out.)

"Opportunity looks a lot like hard work. ... I never had a job in my life that I was better than..."

How to be Sexy:

(aka The Law of Attraction – You attract what you create.)

"The sexiest thing in the entire world... is being really smart, and being thoughtful, and being generous... Everything else is crap.  I promise you."

How to own your Life:

(aka The Law of Ownership and Responsibility – You can’t own something you don’t take responsibility for.)

"You can build your own things.  You can build your own life that other people can live in. Build a life.  Don't live one, build one."

Here is the Ashton Kutcher Speech video.  Enjoy!

(h/t to S. Moss – who said “Everybody should hear this! It is wonderful!”
